I am forever fascinated by the black&white styles of the fifties and sixties.
In this series I have tried to re-create the look I used to process with b&w films like Ilford FP4 125 Asa and HP5 400 Asa.
Sometimes when I sit in front of my computer processing my photographs today I sort of miss the old darkroom with the red light and all the fluids. All the careful preparations and the excitement watching the picture emerge in the developer, and then I remember the fumes and the smells and the headaches and I fall in love with Photoshop once again.
